Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 03, 2013
Flowboard, LLC. announced today that the latest version of its touch publishing app also called Flowboard includes YouTube integration, PDF support, video compression and more. The latest version is featured on the iTunes App Store (http://bit.ly/Flowboard_app_link) as an Editors Choice in 140 countries, and has already received a 25 percent increase in total installs since it launched last week, demonstrating that these additional features were in high demand.
Flowboard continues to transform traditional digital publishing methods that require a mouse and keyboard into a simple touch publishing experience that can reach audiences across the web as well as all major devices including iPhone, iPad, Android and Kindle. Since it first launched in April, Flowboard has rolled out several new features that make it easier for users to create and publish content-rich and well-designed presentations right from their iPad. Now, users can instantly search, preview and add YouTube videos to their Flowboard all within the application. Video compression is now also available, which makes it simple to include video footage saved on your device or on in the cloud via selected services including Dropbox and Box.
In addition to better video integration and requested by popular demand, another addition to Flowboard is PDF support. Users can instantly upload and view PDF documents, and bring more access to information to audiences of their Flowboards by leveraging existing fixed-documents or forms.
The latest version of Flowboard also enhances the overall end-to-end user experience with new tools and performance updates. Within Flowboard Creator, users can find new tools and features such as the new snap guides for embedded objects, and undo and redo capabilities, which can be found under the new second menu. Users can also discover more shortcut features such as tap & hold to duplicate embedded objects or swipe with 3 fingers to add a new screen to your Flowboard presentation.
Flowboard marks the future of digital publishing, and weve already seen strong adoption of our touch publishing platform from a range of users including teachers and students, bloggers and business professionals, said Brent Brookler, Chief Executive Officer of Flowboard, Inc. We believe the versatility of our platform can serve an even wider user base, and well continue to roll out new developments that make it simple for anyone to create a cross-platform interactive destination like the pros.
