NAB 2015 People

Reconnecting with Pros from around the world

This past week was full of catching up on news from companies and people in broadcast from around the world.  NABShow is the biggest convention for broadcast - from television to radio, and expanding into new internet markets - it`s the one stop place to shop for new tech and get information from the industry`s leaders.

Over 100,000 people register to come to this awesome festival of professional broadcast and filmed entertainment.  So chances are high that you`ll run into a professional colleague, friend, employer, or vendor.  And that`s exactly why I went to Las Vegas and NABShow this year.

I didn`t go merely for socializing, but I went to find production and post production gear.  However, with almost 1,800 of the worlds top vendors showing their wares, it`s impossible for an individual to spend quality time at all of the booths you want (not to mention the conferences and panel discussions).

Friends help friends.

You`ll find the best and brightest at NABShow.  Users, buyers, producers, managers, and bosses all come.  And their collection of stories from the show floor can help guide you to the most intriguing hotspots (or away from less interesting bits).

I`ve been coming to NABShow for several years, and I`m really happy to see so many young faces interested in the broadcast production.  I`m certain that definitions of broadcast will change rapidly in the next few years.  NABShow will continue to evolve, keeping us in touch with other professionals, and helping us keep on top of our game for delivering audio and video production and post production to the world.

Hope to see you next year in Las Vegas too.
